Privacy Policy

Better Process Group LLC (“BPG”, “we”, “us”) is a solutions company. This policy explains how we handle information on betterprocessgroup.com and in the BPG Portal (portal.betterprocessgroup.com). Our product applications, such as BetterRoofingPro, publish their own privacy policies, and those govern their use.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you fill in a contact or quote form we receive your name, email address, phone number, company and message. When you buy through the site we receive your order details and billing contact; card payments are handled by Stripe, and we never see or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we receive standard technical information such as your browser type, pages visited and referring page. Where enabled, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel use cookies to measure site traffic and the performance of our advertising.

Information in the BPG Portal

If you sign in to the BPG Portal, we keep the account details your organization's sign-in provides (name, email address and organization) and the work you create there, such as tasks, projects and pages.

How we use it

We use information to answer your inquiries and quotes, fulfil orders, provide and support the BPG Portal, keep our services secure, and improve our website. Inquiries and quotes are recorded in our customer records system (Microsoft Dynamics 365) so our team can follow up. We do not sell your personal information.

Calendars you connect to the BPG Portal

The BPG Portal lets you connect your own calendar so your schedule and your tasks live in one place. Connecting is always your choice, made by clicking Connect and approving access on the provider’s own sign-in screen. You can connect a Microsoft 365 / Outlook account or a Google account.

Google user data

When you connect a Google account, we request read-only access to your Google Calendar events (calendar.events.readonly) and your basic profile email address. We use this data only to:

  • Show your Google Calendar events on your BPG Portal calendar, visible only to you.
  • Treat those events as busy time, so the Portal's scheduler does not plan your tasks on top of your meetings.
  • Show which Google account is connected (its email address), so you can recognize and manage the connection.

We cannot create, change or delete anything in your Google account. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share or transfer it to anyone else except as necessary to provide this feature, to comply with law, or to protect against security problems. BPG staff do not read your Google user data unless you ask us to for support, or it is needed for security or legal reasons.

Better Process Group’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How connected-calendar data is stored and deleted

  • The access you grant is stored as an encrypted token on our servers, and only the BPG Portal can use it.
  • We keep a copy of your events from the past 7 days to the next 60 days. It is refreshed about every 30 minutes and fully replaced on each refresh, so nothing outside that window is kept.
  • When you remove the calendar in the Portal, we delete its events and stored token immediately, and we ask Google to revoke our access. You can also revoke access at any time from your Google Account’s third-party connections page.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that run our services on our behalf, under contracts that limit their use of it: Microsoft (Azure hosting, Dynamics 365 and email delivery), Stripe (payments), and, where enabled, Google Analytics and Meta (site measurement). We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Security

Information is encrypted in transit, stored in access-controlled Microsoft Azure services, and available only to the people and systems that need it to do their job.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, and you can disconnect any calendar from the Portal at any time. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date above.
